The birth of Gobz

As I’ve told you before, I’m looking for new means of expression, a more sustainable kind of art.

I would like to introduce you to Gobz, a young monster, my latest, little one. Can you guess what material he is made of?

I’ll give you the answer: mainly cardboard and staples.

I wouldn’t have thought of using cardboard if I haven’t seen Ann Weber sculptures. She does huge, wonderful sculptures, and her technique really inspired me.

It was a nice feeling to pick up a discarded material and to recycle it to something new.

I don’t know yet where the cardboard will take me but I plan to make Gobz father, and some friends too.
