Poppies

Gouache on paper 12.4 x 17.5 cm Oct 2014 The poppies grow every spring also in Israel and it’s such a pleasure for the eyes! I was not a big fan of Georgia O’ Keefe. But after painting flowers for a while I began to appreciate more her work. This is perhaps the closest to her style. As always, I made the sketch first and then I paint on a canvas.
